We’re on the “home” stretch

The day has finally arrived, we move tomorrow.

The previous five weeks of waiting flew by.

This week? Not so much.

I don’t know if it’s because we’re uber excited to flee our current abode, or that it’s extremely difficult trying to “live” with 75% of your belongings packed away.

I’ve done my best to keep things “organized” and labeled.

But this mismatched, sometimes paparazzi shy guy…

who has recently discovered his belly button…

Has decided that adding his own toys into those packed boxes, unpacking boxes, and crawling into the boxes is just hilarious.

But, by Sunday it will all be over. We’ll hopefully be semi-unpacked and into a home on a quiet cul-de-sac, with a fenced in back yard…and no more old hippie neighbors blaring music all hours of the night (at least I hope not!)

  1. I'm so excited for you to move into a house! I can't imagine when we move out of state. I can't stand having everything boxed up. And I usually leave a bunch of stuff unpacked so I can use it. But traveling accross states, that will be impossible. It will be interesting!

  2. Jen, thanks for your comment. That was really sweet and I'm glad to know that what I'm going through is kinda the "normal" route of those who have come before me. Good luck with the move. Can't wait to see your house!
