Family Update & Shop for a cure?

Sorry I have been slacking at updating lately! We just got back from four days in Rochester with friends and family. Sadly, Great-Grandpa Charlie Brown passed away last Saturday night and the funeral was yesterday. While it was great to see everyone, we wish it could have been for happier circumstances. I did get some great pictures of the three cousins that I will post tomorrow...



On a happier note, two great CF updates!



First, and most importantly, another big step was achieved in the VX-770 drug aimed at Gavin's gene mutation of CF. The study was opened up to children ages 6-12...basically, this means that the drug has proven to be effective and safe enough to try in children. OK people, this is huge, huge, huge news for our family! We are so close to beating this horrible disease!



Secondly, I saw this on another blog. It's a site called Clicks for Cystic Fibrosis.
