Any ideas????
Alright I'll make it even easier...check out this view
If you live in Minnesota you have probably guessed by now. We were at the Water Park of America, the nation's largest indoor water park, inside the Radisson across the street from the Mall of America.
Gavin got to wear his swim trunks to actually swim for a change! (Yes, he often wears them as shorts) When we first entered the park area he got very wide eyed and tried to take it all in.
It's an impressive sight, even for the big kids adults! There is a lot of fun stuff and its all inside! Which is definitely necessary when you live in the frozen tundra :)
Gavin definitely did not enjoy being anywhere that water was splashing in his face, but was content to just hang out in the shallow end. It took him awhile to get used to it, and I don't think he was ever quite sure what to think!
There were lots of waterslides. Some you slid down on your bottom, others you rode a tube down. Four year old Morgan was quite the trooper and went down many of them! I caught the tail end of her ride down with her daddy, except that another tuber got right in front of them when I took the picture...
We spent some time in the hot tub...
And spent some time just hanging out in the water and watching the big kids play...
Daddy, Cousin Grant & Aunt Stacy
Hanging out with Mommy
And Daddy
And Grandpa
And his cousins...look at all those blonde kiddos!
* In case you were curious, the first two images are upward views of the waterslides when you stand outside of the hotel/water park. Some of the slides start inside, go outside, and finish back inside.
Never been there, but I hear it is awesome... Glad you were able to have a good time.....
ReplyDeleteThe three little cousins look so cute together. The water park looks awesome!! Maybe one day I can venture that way and check it out! Glad everyone had a good time, including little Gavin!
