Three stories about the Gav man that I had to share…

Tonight, while we were watching Wheel Of Fortune (nightly routine) Gavin came running up to me and said…

Mama? Eyes?

Mama bue (blue) eyes.

Totally melted my heart. We had never discussed my eyes, their color, or the fact that different people have different colored eyes…he put it all together himself…little smarty pants.

Secondly, after he had been in his room for a couple minutes…there was silence. This can never be good…right? So Casey snuck up on him and busted him…

Taking all of his clean t-shirts out of his drawer and putting them into his laundry hamper. I have taught him that dirty clothes go into the hamper and then mama does the laundry…but apparently I didn’t explain the difference between clean and dirty. My bad.

Thirdly, Gav ran downstairs to play with his toys so Casey thought it would be a good idea to sneak in some Mike & Ikes.

Let me explain Gavin and Mike & Ikes…you know how some pets recognize the sound of a can opener and come running for their dinner? The second Gavin hears the sound of Mike & Ikes pouring out of the box, he comes running..even from a room or two away.

Well…tonight…even though he was on a different floor, in his own little imaginative world…he booked it up the stairs, came running into the kitchen and whined at Casey until he got some too :) Gavin is seriously obsessed (just like his daddy & grandpa) with that candy! He must have some amazing hearing!

He’s not even two yet…we’re gonna be in trouble…
