On Saturday we headed over to Casey's childhood friend Emily's house for her baby shower. Gavin's future girlfriend is due June 28th..haha. It was a great time and Gavin did pretty well! At first he was a bit overwhelmed as so many ladies wanted to hug and kiss on him, but he eventually warmed up to everyone. We spent quite a bit of time outside so Gavin took a longggg nap when we got home which was amazing.
On Saturday night my mom came over to babysit Gavin while Casey & I went out on the town with our friends Jay & Lindsey. We definitely pretended that we were young and carefree again and stumbled in the door around 3:30 a.m. Guess what time Gavin decided to wake up. 5:30 a.m. Wonderful. But I fed him and he fell back asleep for a couple more hours. Now I remember why we rarely go out anymore, it took all day Sunday to recover from the lack of sleep! I was still feeling exhausted yesterday!
But it was a great excuse for Gavin and Daddy to do some snugglin while relaxing and watching tv!
Gavin also took advantage of the lazy day by curling up with two of his favorite buddies
The only thing that could have made Sunday any better would have been a football game to watch, oh well only a couple more months til the NFL season begins...right?!?! :)
